After the initial consultation, our education consultants and director analyse and discuss each new prospective placement in detail. Due to the rigorous selection process of our tutors, we know their varying strengths. As a result, our education consultants and director are able to make the right informed decisions successfully pairing up the right tutor to a client.
All of our tutors are carefully hand selected: they are screened, interviewed and hand-picked against strict academic requirements.
We insist that our tutors tutor only subjects that they themselves have had academic success in. Furthermore, our tutoring methods vary according to each student’s unique curricular requirements. Hence, our consultants, director and tutors put as much effort in customising a tuition model for the student. This includes configuring creative teaching styles that enable all students to effectively retain information and accurately apply content.
Tutor Allocation & Customisation
Performance Tracking, Testing & Feedback
At Mindfull Learning we want parents/guardians to feel confident in the services that they’re investing in. Therefore, we make it one of our priorities to provide parents/guardians real time updates and support regarding their child’s performance.
After each session, your Mindfull Learning tutor will submit a detailed report setting out the sessions focus. Additionally, your Mindfull Learning tutor will note the student’s achievements and areas of improvement, alongside a grading system that measures the student’s ability to: apply the relevant content, retain information, engage with content in a creative way and evaluate and analyse content. This affords parents/guardians the ability to visualise their child’s tracked improvement, motivation, confidence and other performance areas.
MindFull Learning prides itself in providing holistic and personalised tuition services. Hence, our tutors are able to carefully observe each student’s ability and implement constant testing which helps refine the student’s abilities. Furthermore, our tutors ensure that a student’s areas of improvement are immediately addressed whilst also constantly building on their strengths.
Our Tutors
At Mindfull Learning, our education consultants and director carefully select each tutor. All tutors have to meet extremely high standards to become part of the Mindfull Learning team. Through the work of tutor support team, all applicants are screened to make sure they have the right qualifications to be a successful tutor. Additionally, all of our tutors are Russell group educated with over 60% of our tutors having studied at: Oxbridge, LSE, Imperial, UCL, Durham, Kings College and Warwick. Overall, our rigorous selection processes are designed to make sure that we recruit the most academically gifted tutors, with the best personalities and with genuine passions for tutoring.
Therefore, when you select an Mindfull Learning tutor you can be rest assured that the tutor you welcome into your home is one that you can trust, as well as the right match for you and your child. All of our tutors have to pass our five-stage selection process which complies with the Safer Recruitment in Education requirements.
Application
Prospective tutors initially apply online and only 50% make it through this stage selection. Our minimum requirements are higher than those needed to be become a teacher. All of our tutors are qualified with either QTS or a minimum honours degree in their taught subjects. Furthermore, all tutors are fully vetted and enhanced DBS checked.
All prospective tutors are then interviewed by our education consultants, the tutor support team and our director. Following this, prospective tutors are required to sit our challenging teaching test which helps identity the most gifted candidates. This guarantees that we only select tutors that adequately illustrate our values of professionalism and quality. This is also an opportunity to check the credentials of all prospective tutors, their experiences and their aptitude for tutoring as well as references from previous clients.

How do we train our tutors?
We endlessly strive to produce quality tuition services that adapt to the changing needs of our clients. Therefore, we take pride in our high standards and we monitor the performance of individual tutors on every assignment they undertake on our behalf. Our department heads are tasked with ensuring that tutors are kept up to date with curriculum changes and that teaching remains exam board specific. Further, we support the professional development of each tutor by seasonally providing tutor workshops and online tutor training.
